I just wanted to share the items I ended up getting with the Sephora gift card my aunt gave me for Christmas. I chose the majority of these items based on various “Best of 2012” product videos on YouTube, specifically Emilynoel83’s Emily Awards Face and Eyes videos, and Michele1218’s Top 12 Products of 2012.
bareMinerals Light Up the Room Value Kit: This kit contains Renew & Hydrate Eye Cream, Prime Time™ Brightening Eyelid Primer, Well-Rested® Face & Eye Brightener, and Illuminating Mineral Veil® finishing powder. I have heard great things about the Well-Rested product, and when I found this value kit containing a full size Well-Rested plus three other products, I thought it was a great opportunity to try this product line that I am not very familiar with. This kit is valued at $74, but only cost $39. All four products are full size.
bareMinerals Ready Eyeshadow 8.0 Palette – The Star Treatment: Emilynoel83 gave this palette a 2012 Emily Award for Best Small Palette, in a different color scheme (The Finer Things). I chose these colors because I have been looking for a rose gold shade, and The Star Treatment palette has one. The palette was originally $40, and was marked down to $25.
Urban Decay All Nighter Long Lasting Makeup Setting Spray: I have never used a setting spray, and have heard mixed reviews. Some beauty gurus swear by them, others say there are no added benefits to using them. I figured a gift card gives me the ability to try something new. I will definitely post a review for this.
Lady Gaga Fame Eau de Parfum Spray: I finally got Fame! I am not a perfume person, but it’s Lady Gaga! And it’s black! And the bottle has claws! And it smells sweet. LOVE IT!
